'Chronically Online, Narrative Driven and Music Focused'

Mark is a writer / director / editor on the rise, recently releasing two successful TikTok series, Hot Bread (250,000 views) and Last Party Of Summer (1.3 million views) in collaboration with Screen Australia.

His film style has been laser focused on; Ensemble Cast / Coming-Of-Age / Young Adult Drama series, with the aim to become the ‘Shonda Rhimes of Australia’.

Graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2014, Mark has always had his attention to creating powerful narrative films from his graduate film; The Suburbs Go On Forever which screened at 15 festivals across the world (earning awards such as Best Story, Best Student Film and Best Cinematography at various festivals) to his first indie feature film, The Age Of Imitation, which won best Foreign Feature at the Intendence Film Festival and Best Feature Film and Best Actress at Reel Time International Online Film Festival.

Since then, he has transitioned to the online space, creating the successful YouTube series Everything’s Going to Be Fine, the TikTok hit Hot Bread, an anthology spotlighting emerging filmmakers, and Last Party of Summer, a Rashomon-style young adult drama set at a dreamlike house party.

He’s currently developing his first SVOD series, BATZ.
